At Nuestras Raíces, our Cultural Master Classes aim to foster a deep sense of cultural awareness and connection. These sessions are designed to go beyond the surface, offering participants the opportunity to explore the rich history and profound experiences that define their heritage.

Through the guidance of masters and educators who have dedicated years to researching and exploring their cultural traditions, our classes provide a unique blend of historical knowledge and practical application.

Participants will learn the stories, origins, and significance behind the dances and performances they love. This approach ensures that they do not just move to the rhythm but understand the essence and meaning behind each step and gesture.

We believe that knowing where we come from and the cultural roots that shape us is vital in appreciating and honoring our traditions. By participating in our monthly master classes, attendees will gain insights into their heritage while developing skills to apply this understanding in their dances and performances.

Our Cultural Master Classes are held every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, providing consistent opportunities for individuals to connect with their cultural identity. Whether you're a dancer, performer, or someone passionate about preserving your heritage, these sessions are a gateway to discovering the deeper meaning behind our traditions.Join us each month and embark on a journey to embrace, celebrate, and pass on the legacy of our culture. Together, let’s dance with purpose, honoring the essence of who we are and where we come from.

Yo Naci En este Pais International Festival is a vibrant celebration of cultural pride, unity, and the enduring love for our roots. Since its inception, this festival has grown to become a cornerstone of our mission, reflecting our commitment to preserving and promoting the richness of our heritage. With five successful festivals in Ecuador and two in the United States, we are dedicated to continuing this project for generations to come.

The festival serves as a dynamic platform where tradition meets modern expression, bringing communities together through music, dance, art, and storytelling. From traditional folk performances to contemporary interpretations, the festival showcases the diversity and depth of our shared heritage.

A highlight of the International Festival is the Election of the Queen of International Folklore Dances, where talented individuals compete to embody the spirit of cultural preservation and artistic excellence. This prestigious title celebrates dedication to traditional dance and honors the profound connection between culture and identity. The Queen represents the festival’s mission to inspire love and respect for our roots.

Our International Festival also plays a crucial role in supporting local and international artists, businesses, and sponsors. By collaborating with sponsors from both Ecuador and the USA, we create opportunities to highlight their contributions and strengthen ties within and across communities. This partnership not only amplifies the festival’s reach but also fosters economic and cultural growth.
